Interior

The standard Oyster layout was altered to remove the curves of the standard saloon seating and provide a more contemporary rectangular layout. Maple and pale blue leather give a spacious bright feel with a custom designed companion way. All metal hand holds are in brushed stainless steel with knurled detailing. This latter detail is carried throughout the yacht to the door handles and reading lights which are both custom made for Roulette.

The bathrooms have taps and shower fittings made in Italy by Vola. Jo Humphreys, Rob's wife assisted with the interior design.

The vessel has LED lighting throughout to minimize power consumption at anchor or while on passage. These are enhanced in the saloon by conventional flush halogen spot lights.

The steaming, anchor and navigational lights are also LED for the same reason.A large battery bank provides 24V power and 2 invertors provide 240V for the kettle microwave and hob. Roulette is an all electric yacht with no gas aboard. The area designed for gas bottles adjacent to the Lazarrete has been redesigned as a fuel locker for the tender.

The air conditioning requires shore power or the generator but the heating system has a boiler fired by ships diesel and can be run by the battery bank when at anchor. The system, made by Webasto marine, has central cooling and heating plant as used in commercial office buildings which has saved some weight and freed up additional storage space throughout the boat compared with a conventional system.
